A Ceaseless Spin-Off

As Divinity itself, as the Space for all and the Source of all, you are responsible for all. There is no second Power. Who you really, really are did it all, is doing it all. But notice whether this Space that you are is efforting its contents. Do you, who are attending to the scene, have any sense of intending it, of contriving it and cobbling it together, of causing and maintaining it? It is for you, who are responsible for it, to say. Isn’t it rather that everything flows spontaneously, without motive or taking thought, from your Being, a ceaseless spin-off from Who you are? (Look For Yourself, Douglas Harding)

Solving Problems - The Technique of No-Choice

This is how the technique works: faced with a problem, one doesn't feebly sit back and wait for things to happen. Neither does one toss a coin, or consult an astrologer, and hope that the outcome will prove the right one. Not at all. The very definite action to be taken falls into four stages:

1.See yourself to be the Ground or Bottom Line for the pros and cons of the problem to arise from - as many of them and in as much detail as may be. Encourage them to arrange themselves in all sorts of ways. Live with that display, brood on it, sleep on it, but don't go hankering after a decision. As entertaining the problem in all its aspects, as the Screen for them to come and go on, as their Mirror, you remain neutral. Among the exhibits, however, you may well find, prominently featured, a dateline for the problem's solution. Brood on that, too.

2. One morning on waking, or during the day when you are preoccupied with some chore, the completed pattern of things to come arrives, spontaneously and unannounced, from the Bottom Line. So inevitable it seems, so conclusively does it resolve your problem, that you are left in no doubt that here is the right decision, arrived at in the right way at the right time. It has been immaculately conceived in you and for you but not by you. Certainly not by you the human being. Accordingly, it arrives carrying the authority of its parentage, which is the real You, the Source, the World's Beginning and the World's End.

3. Now it is the turn of that decision itself, of that seemingly so right design, to go on display above your Bottom Line: and to reveal its limitations and weak spots. All manner of doubts and difficulties, and dilemmas about how to give effect to the decision, are now likely to appear. Again, you don't solve them by choosing between possible alternatives. You stay with them till they, in turn, are ripe and ready to resolve themselves.

4. Finally, the plan is implemented. With interest, perhaps with awe, you watch it take shape. At no time do you feel that you are moulding or forging that shape. It forms in you as cloud-shapes form in the sky, or intricate patterns in a kaleidoscope.

Such, then, is the technique of No-choice, resulting in no stress of the superfluous and toxic sort. It works. It works creatively, coming up with unforced and unpredictable and truly inspired solutions that you couldn't possibly take personal credit for. And it works like that because, to tell the truth, it is not a technique at all, not a useful dodge for relieving you of the pains of indecision, and certainly not a recipe for a quiet life at all costs. No: it works because it's the way you are built, the way you function in any case, whether you realize it or not. All this choosing one thing in preference to another is illusory, a great cover-up. Separate individuals, as such, are powerless to make the slightest difference in a universe where every one of them is tightly controlled by the rest. Pretending otherwise, pretending that, as our sole selves, we exercise free will, is as absurd and dishonest as it is vainglorious - and stressful. Only the Source of all, under the sway of none, has free will; and only deeds which are seen to proceed from it, which are referred back to it, which are felt to be its own deeds - only these carry its marvellous smell, the smell of an originality and rightness which belongs solely to that Origin. To live the choiceless life that we have been describing is not fatalism. It is not giving up the struggle and accepting that one is a machine within a Machine. It is to identify with the Machine's Inventor, to take one's stand in Freedom itself. It is to be one's Source, to choose what flows from it, and to perceive it as very good. (Head Off Stress, Douglas Harding)

deze vind ik heel mooi:
Light Prayer of Muhammad
O God! Grant me Light in my heart,
Light in my grave,
Light in front of me, Light behind me,
Light to my right, Light to my left,
Light above me, Light below me,
Light in my ears, Light in my eyes,
Light on my skin, Light in my hair,
Light within my flesh, Light in my blood,
Light in my bones.

O God! Increase my Light everywhere.

O God! Grant me Light in my heart,
Light on my tongue, Light in my eyes, Light in my ears,
Light to my right, Light to my left,
Light above me, Light below me,
Light in front of me, Light behind me,
and Light within my self; increase my Light.

This prayer was loved by Mevlana Rumi as well and it has been recited daily by Mevlevi dervishes, both men and women for centuries.

Two Pegs and the Middle
I read a very interesting text by the Sri Lankan monk Niyananda. He described that our subjective self sense is one peg and the "other" or an object, is the other peg. Between the two arises a consciousness, as the middle. Here is another way to approach non-duality and liberation.

Before a relative, dualistic consciousness can arise the two pegs of subject/object dichotomy are required. On a personal level the basic subject is "me" and other people and things are the objective side. When those both arise, the "story" about the relationship between those two arises. That story is the "middle". It's like two poles of a battery. When you have two terminals in place, an electrical charge can arc between the opposite poles. That charge energizes the emotional story.

On a more global level the subject can be our "awareness" and our "experience" is the objective side. We may see our awareness as a witness and our experiences as what we are aware of. In this case all kinds of stories arise about "our experiences" that happen 'to' us.

When this basic duality arises our karmic traces can arise as story content. Our karmic traces reside in a "superposition" quantum state, and stay there until triggered. When the subject/object pair is established, the sense of a "me" is found to be a common denominator in all karmic traces. The resistance by the "me" to a prior experience is what causes the traces in the first place. The entire karmic bank of traces becomes subject to being triggered by the "me" resisting a current experience. We can call this bank of karmic traces the "reactive mind". Once triggered there is an immediate karmic-related reaction experienced in consciousness. The traces triggered become active and reinforce further the reification of the subject peg and the object peg, which establishes the "middle" as the new samsaric story-line.

When the bi-polar subject/object dichotomy is absent, the traces in "superposition" can't be triggered. Until they are triggered they don't "exist". If they aren't triggered samsara can't get started again.

How can we make use of this information? Our consciousness needs to become non-dual. Consider your awareness as a subjective self that perceives experience as separate and apart. The sense is often "my awareness cannot be conditioned by any experience". This of course is dualistic: awareness on one side and experiences on the other. The two pegs in place cause a dualistic consciousness to arise: the middle. That dualistic consciousness is dependent on all conditioning, history, stories and karmic traces as well as the two pegs being firmly in place. Remove the pegs and the middle disappears i.e. dualistic karmic consciousness. That is liberation.

So let's do that. Here's how: observe your current "knowing awareness". Now close your eyes and just listen to any sounds. As you are listening notice how the sounds are in your awareness or consciousness. Do you notice any border separating the immediate sound and your awareness of it? Is there any distance between the sound and your consciousness of it? Play around with for a bit until it is realized that awareness and sounds are the same thing. There is no "awareness" having an experience of sound, but rather sound is recognized to be awareness and awareness is recognized to be sound. That is non-duality.

Next, close your eyes again and this time do the same with some thoughts. How much distance is there between your awareness and a thought at the moment the thought appears? Is there a border separating your awareness from the thought?
Play around with this a bit until you discover that that thoughts, all mental events, and awareness are one thing. Again, this is non-duality.

Now let's broaden this to include all experience. Close your eyes and notice your total sensory and cognitive condition. Notice if there is any actual separation or border between your awareness and your total experience. Does any perceived aspect of your immediate experience occur apart from your conscious awareness in the exact moment of experience? Is there any distance between your awareness and any experience? Play around with this for awhile until it becomes clear that ALL experience of every kind is not separate from awareness. They are one thing. Awareness IS experience, not a perceiver of it. That is the realization of non-duality.

When this insight dawns in the deepest levels of consciousness, the mind will cease dividing Reality into subjects and objects. When subjects and objects cease to arise in consciousness then karma and karmic traces remain non-existent. That is real liberation, even though no one was liberated. Remove the two pegs and the middle vanishes.

(simple but not easy heb ik wel eens iemand horen zeggen)

The Five Principles of Realization and Liberation
http://www.wayoflight.net/Teachings.php

audio met interview, vanaf min. 41 komen onderstaande vijf punten aan bod.
http://www.nonduality.net/23april2014_jacksonp.mp3
llink:www.nonduality.net/23april2014_jacksonp.mp3

1 over de aard van gedachten:
The first principle is becoming aware of our thoughts and the nature of thought. By taking the position of just being an observer of the thoughts and images that come and go we discover all thoughts are the same: they are temporary appearances that come and go like clouds in the sky. Give no importance to one thought over another. If we pay no attention to any thought but remain in the "observer" role, it seems the space of awareness becomes more open and thoughts less demanding of attention. We discover all thoughts are without substance and importance. We could say our thoughts are "empty", like clouds: appearances without any core or entity.
The second principle is recognizing our stories and emotional dramas are structured only from thought, our "empty" thoughts. In continuing to observe our thoughts we should notice how they tend to link together in chains of meaning and particular significance. It is this linking together of thoughts that creates our stories, beliefs and emotional drama in a convincing and powerful way. As a result we may spend most of our time going from one mini-daydream to another. It is this trance-like state of mind that we need to break up again and again as often as possible. We do that by shifting our attention from thought to the presence of the five senses in immediate now-ness. Just notice your physical environment and the direct sensory experience free of analysis. Practice this shifting away from mental engagement in thought to noticing your physical environs as often as possible. Hopefully the trance-like habit of living in your thoughts constantly will be broken. In this way we can free ourselves from anxiety and emotional suffering as both are caused by the mind's stories that are rarely challenged. It is possible to discover that our stories and emotional dramas are as empty as last night's dreams. In fact our daydreams and stories are no more real than our dreams at night. We discover our stories are also just as empty as the clouds that group together in the sky in various formations that disperse and disappear in the next moment leaving no trace.
3 gedachten en verhalen over een zelf.
The third principle is recognizing that one's sense of self is also only an empty story made of thought; a mental construction without an actual identity as an entity that exists independently and with self-determinism. Studies have determined that our coherent sense of personal identity doesn't appear until about the ages between 18 and 24 months. That means previous to that time there was no personal "me" story or self-image. That also means the newly appearing sense of "me" is totally the result of thought-stories that the mind constructs about identity. There is no personal self present other than this make-believe "me" story. Even science makes clear there is just one unified field of energy as the universe without separate parts. The entire field is inter-dependent without any breaks or splits in the unity. The sense of being an independent entity like a "personal self", is just an illusion and has never existed in fact. By observing the "me" thoughts that arise from moment to moment we can notice the "personal me" is nothing more than a chain of linked thoughts about identity that are supported by memories and imagination. Seeing this directly and clearly, not just intellectually, the emptiness of personal identity becomes obvious to the mind at which point the illusion ceases. But that cessation will only occur according to the degree of the depth of this self inquiry. If it doesn't occur the understanding is too shallow and not convincing enough to the deeper levels of mind grounded in conditioning and habitual "selfing". In such a case one should revisit the first and second principles again and establish a deeper state of observation regarding the experience of the "me" thought arising and dissolving until it becomes clear that no personal self exists outside of the mind's belief otherwise. When recognition arises it becomes clear that the notion of there being a personal self is as empty as a single huge cloud that dominates the sky yet disappears in the next moment without a trace.
The fourth principle is recognizing what exactly is the nature of that which is observing and experiencing the empty nature of thoughts, stories and personal selfhood. What is doing the "recognizing"? What is this impersonal aware consciousness that perceives and knows? In these recognitions there seems to be an ever increasing evolution or revelation of wisdom. As a result one's cognitive space seems expansive, open and vividly transparent without a center. What exactly is this state of impersonal consciousness? It clearly has a sense of being aware; empty and knowing. Can we be aware of being aware? Is this aware consciousness present in all experience, inseparably so?

Let's look directly at this impersonal aware knowingness: In a well lighted room close your eyes. Notice at your eyelids that the light of the room shining on your eye lids creates an inner glow upon your closed translucent eyelids. You will see an orangey-red color at your eyes lids. What is it that is observing this color? It will seem as though your aware consciousness occupies a place a few inches behind the eyes and its attention is directed at the eyelids in front. Notice your aware presence as being the place from where you are looking forward from at the orangey color. Are you "aware" of the color? Now be aware of your awareness just as it is. Does this awareness have any color, shape, substance or dimension of its own? Or is it simply an empty presence of aware knowing? Review these last two questions again and again until it becomes clear that "you" are actually this empty, clear and aware knowing. When this is seen clearly instead of recognizing the emptiness of thoughts and self as the empty nature of the clouds that appear in the sky, the empty nature of the sky itself is recognized; the empty cognitive space in which all appearances appear and disappear.
The fifth principle is recognizing the inseparable relationship between one's empty, aware "seeing" and the five senses. One can't find awareness separate from one's sensory perceptions. There isn't first a sensory perception and then an awareness of it. The five senses are this "knowing awareness" seeming to be split up into five separate sensory components. These sensory capacities are not limited to the physical five senses. "Knowing awareness" can perceive independently of the five physical senses with no limitations regarding time and space. Merging our attention fully with the five senses instead of with the mental phenomena of thoughts, stories and beliefs in personal identity, reveals a state of total "nowness" beyond thought and mind. A limitless vista of knowing transparency and Clear Light reveals itself to be be our true nature beyond any descriptions or assumptions of mind. In merging our attention totally with the five senses, the luminous nature of appearances reveals itself to be the bright vividness of our Awareness.

(ring a bell?) (bell=Baal)

in de video, ongeveer midden, iets als: 'crossing the threshold... be prepared when the opportunity arises'

…because self is the biggest trick that mind ever played…
Today, ordinary people are waking up all around the world. Here are some of their real life stories.

This book recounts the journeys of twenty one ordinary people who dared to investigate whether the self they had always taken for real actually exists. Twenty one seekers look behind the word "me", to see if any “self” could be found. Transcripts of twenty one extraordinary guided conversations record the process step by step, line by line, as each one sees through the illusion, and is finally liberated from the prison of belief in a separate self.

No such resource for spiritual seekers has ever been published, nor such a large collection of awakening accounts ever been assembled. Completely accessible, totally practical and wholly transparent for all who are interested, Gateless Gatecrashers makes a unique contribution to spiritual literature, and perhaps will lead you – when you are ready - to gatecrash !

Liberation Unleashed is a movement of volunteer guides who are dedicated to helping you end the spiritual search. We strive to clearly transmit the message that separation is only a thought, that there is no entity behind the word “ I “, and all one needs to do to see that for oneself is to look .

http://markedeternal.blogspot.nl/p/start-here.html

This is the simplest, most logical; most obvious truth- there is no such separate entity as self. There is no self at all, no manager, controller, but life flowing freely, all is one reality, one life. Life just IS.

It is so simple, that it's most difficult to see. Thinking that we all have a special separate self that is in charge of our lives it's nothing else, but unquestioned assumption. It's a core belief, through which a human sees life. The feeling of separation persists in everyday life, making one always stressed, depressed or seeking for more. There is deep constant feeling that something is wrong, that there is something to find out, that life is not full, not abundant, stressful, unfulfilled.

Of course there is something wrong.
There is this feeling that something is wrong. It rises up from deep and keeps us searching for answers.

The answer is simple- there is no self. There never was. We are not doing anything in life, life is happening not to us, but as us. There is no manager involved that decides what, when, with who, why. Life just happens, by itself, for no reason. It's life alive. It's Life-ing.

The big question is how to see that there is really no self in reality at all.
If you accept this as a belief, without testing, nothing will change. You will have one more belief running in the system creating more conflicts than before. To see the truth of it you need to look for yourself.

Looking is very simple- one just needs a clear intention to finally see the truth, no matter what distractions stand in a way. One needs to be ready to set all expectations aside. It's not scary and it is not magic. One just needs to start thinking for himself and answer some precise questions with whole honesty like never before.

When you start looking first thing to do is clear the path. This can be done by writing. You can have somebody guiding you or just do it yourself. Take nothing for granted, question everything. There is nothing at all that you need to know to start digging. Just begin writing and clarify stuff for yourself, by yourself, for the love of truth. No one can do the looking for you. Don't even think about that.
(Don’t start just yet. Read the whole thing to the end, then start)

I came up with these steps as a result of seeing what really works for most people.

All you need is pen and paper, plus honest desire to know.

At this stage it is important to realize that looking and thinking is not the same.
For example, if i asked you to describe what is behind your back right now, you can answer from memory- thinking, or you can turn the head around and see, then describe what is there as you see it. In this work you need to look in your experience and forget all you know, all you think is true, all you heard or read. Trust your direct experience.

Step 1
Clearing the path
Write this down.
There is no separate self at all in reality. No agent that is in charge, no manager, no watcher, no owner of life; all there is is life flowing freely as one movement.

Watch, wait, notice, write- what comes up? Is there fear? Is there doubt? Resistance? Frustration? Something that wants to scream and make a turn away, something that says this is not working? Or maybe there is feeling of wow, joy, relief?
Notice all that is going on inside and just put it down in writing.

................
Done? Ok. Bring all closer. If there is fear, focus on fear.
Notice, that it's protection mechanism. The fear itself is like a door, it holds you from looking behind the door. But it's just fear. It’s ok for it to be here, it is only doing it’s job. Just let it be there, acknowledge its presence with respect and gratitude, check where it feels physically in the body. Notice sensation.

What is fear itself?
What is it protecting?
What needs to be protected?
What is that feels threatened?

Ask it to reveal why it’s here, what it is trying to tell you, ask the fear to share it’s wisdom.
If there is no self, then there is nothing that needs to be protected, right?
Honor the feeling. Bow to it, thank it for doing it’s job. Notice, it is here to protect, it's a friend. Fer is really love in disguise. It is only showing you where to look, the dark areas.

Now look behind it.
Is there anything behind the fear?
if so, what? And what is behind that?

( note that the silence is not the absence of answer, it is the answer)

Done?
If you passed this stage and saw that there is nothing behind the fear, you are ready for the next step.
Step 2.
Strip away all expectations.
What do you expect that liberation is going to be like?
What do you want from it?
How do you imagine a liberated human behaves?
What should it be like?
What will it give you, what do you hope for?
What don't you want it to be like.

Just write all this out and examine it. Your full honesty is the key here, find all expectation and write them down, then look for the hidden expectations. This article on Exectations may be of use here.

Once you write it all out, accept that expectations are in the way of seeing with fresh eyes, so leave all this behind in order to take a fresh look. If you keep clinging to your expectations, go back to the fear section and look what is behind the expectations. What is there that feels threatened?

All expectations, no matter what you expect are not what it is going to be like. Anytime you feel stuck, come back to expectations, if there is something that you think that should be happening, but it isn't- there is an expectation behind it. They are not useful, but in the way.
Step 3
Get in touch with real
By real I mean that which is actually here, that does not disappear if you stop believing in it.

Imagine that you are holding a spoon. Imagine form, size, weight, temperature, keep it there, close your eyes, and feel the imaginary spoon.
Open your eyes; is there a spoon here, in real life?
So how did you see that there is no spoon?
What happened to the spoon?
Did it disappear or it never existed?

Notice, that there was no boom and no bright light flashes in the eyes when imaginary spoon was no longer imagined. Remember this, shift is not going to be more than this, it’s just a drop of belief- the glue that holds the illusion together.

Look around the room notice what is real. What is here now? Notice things, notice looking around the room. If you think that this world is not real, check it against an imaginary picture.

Here is another exercise:

Close your eyes and imagine you are in the kitchen. Just visualize and look around, notice where things are put. Notice the space, the feel of it.
This is an image, it can trigger feelings and contractions - expansions, thought stories and feelings attached to them.

Open eyes and see how an image can be created and explored in the mind.

Go to the kitchen and look at same things that you saw in the image, how does imagining and experiencing same things differ? Is the image of the kitchen and experience of kitchen the same?

Focus on the image of me, the separate individual entity, is it an image or an actual entity?
.......

If I was to tell you that Santa is real, would you see it in the room right now? Can you see the difference between real and imagined?

Self is imagined. You can look for the real self, but can it be found? Look in each sense- can you find the self? ( is there a self in touch, smelling, tasting, seeing and hearing? Test with each sense.

Is controller/manager in a head? if so, how does self give commands to the body?
Step 4
I is a thought. Thought does not think.
Opposite to what we have been fed since childhood, I is not a soul or a being, I is a thought. It is not a being, it is just a label. Being is a verb, not a thing.

I think therefore I am- a famous statement proposed by René Descartes. The simple meaning of the phrase is that someone wondering whether or not he exists is, in and of itself, proof that he does exist – at the very least, there must be an "I" who does the thinking.

But let’s not believe what somebody else says and test it.

Close your eyes after reading this paragraph and find that which is always present. Feelings of aliveness, aware being-ness, ‘I am’ stay with the feeling. Is it personal? It feels personal because for all those years you thought that you exist as a separate being. It’s a sense plus labeling of the mind as “me”.

Look at thoughts:

Where do they come from?
Can you control them?
What influences thoughts?
Do you know what your next though is going to be?
Can a thought be stopped in the middle?
What do you know for sure?

Answer these questions for yourself, notice the thinking process. How do thoughts come, in bundles or one after another, one at a time?

Notice that thoughts come and go by themselves. They are just thoughts, like clouds in the sky. And there is nothing that controls them, they roll one after another and there is no way to stop or get rid of them. Like a river that is running freely.

Look at mind as labeling machine. Experience happens, labeling follows. Noticing, observation, witnessing happens, labels pop right after.

This article on language and how it woks may be of use at this point.

Notice body breathing, look, is it breathing by itself of is there a breather? Label says “I breathe”. Is there an I that does the breathing? How about when you sleep? Does breathing need a breather?

Same with walking, eating, listening to music, dancing. Every experience is followed by “I did this” commentary. But look closer; is there a walker, an eater, a dancer? If language says that there is an object doing action, is that true in your direct experience?

Play with the labeling for a bit, notice that label I is just a label, a word that precedes other words in the labeling. Right now reading happens effortlessly and if you just stop for a second, thoughts appear and start labeling………I is one of thoughts. I is not a thinker, it's a thought arising in awareness.

Can a thought think? Can a thought do anything?

So if I is a thought and thought does not think, where is the thinker? Is there one?

I think therefore I am can be broken down to:
I is a thought itself
I does not think
There is no I
But thinking happens.
By itself.

There is an exercise in this post, do it and notice, if I is more then a thought, more then a label.
http://markedeternal.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/labels.html
Step 5
The Gate
There is no separate self at all in real life.

Check it.
Is there a gap between experienced and experiencer? Is there an experiencer, a center to which life happens?

It’s good idea to get outside into nature at this point. Watch trees, animals, babies, other people. See how everything moves, wiggles, trees, grass, animals, birds, humans, thoughts, feelings, the body that is here now. Notice that thoughts are arising dependent of what is being noticed, what is being experienced.

Notice life, aliveness and how everything is happening effortlessly. Turn the focus outside. Notice how everything simply is. perceiving is happening. It's here, now, alive.

See how seeing just happens. There is no one behind the eyes, no watcher, no observer, only watching, observing happening in the present moment. No agent that switches seeing on and off at will. Mind is doing it's usual business of labeling experience and it is also just happening by itself without an effort.

When you look at what is looking, what is there?

If there is a doubt, notice that, look right at it, see it for what it really is- another mechanism of protection. Just that. It is just a thought that arises and passes away. Keep looking at the obvious. Focus. Is there a focuser? Or focusing is happening?

You are seeing it already at this point, all that is needed to recognize this fully is noticing that it's already the case.

At this point there is nothing that you need or can do. Let it unfold. There is no agent that can even let this unfold. See that there is no one that can do anything, admit that. No one to let it happen. It all just happens. It's all happening already- noticing, recognition, seeing. There is no separate self, there never was, there is only life, unfolding. Trust that.

There are many traps here and you will need to focus hard. Everything that is not direct looking is a distraction from looking. Mind will be creating all kinds of distractions, but just remember to stare at the gate.

Gate is the best friend in this search for freedom. It's a sure one time crossing, once the truth is seen you cannot fall back into belief of separate being. Same way as you cannot ever belief that Santa is real in real life. Once a pattern is recognized it can not be unrecognized.

At this point if help needed, please come to THE GATE Forum where you can get help by our dedicated team free of any charge. Either you see it or you don't, don't let it just hang in there unresolved, there are some questions that will help to clear doubt and really see it.

You either see it or you think that you don't.
Step 6
How does it feel to see this?
Has anything changed on the outside? are any changes in ordinary every day activities?

Does it feel different inside?

Write it down. Putting thoughts on paper in front of you really helps mind to focus and clarify.

If you passed through the gate it becomes obvious, that there is no gate, there is no I that needs or can cross the gate and there never was. And you may be glad to see that seeking has dropped.

At this point answer the question: is seeking still here?

One thing for sure you are not going to hear angels singing and no sonic boom either. It’s just like seeing an recognizing that there is no imaginary spoon, just a drop of belief. The shift can be very subtle or it can come with intense experiences, it does not matter how it is for others, it is perfect for you in every way.
Step 7
Falling

Right, this is when it gets interesting.

Since the core belief has been busted, there will be a lot of lost beliefs hanging. Imagine, it's like a computer system, if you delete some programs, there will be some files left behind that will slow down the performance, so you usually clean it up. Defragment the system, tune it up.

Knocking the core belief out is like a tsunami to your system. It leaves a lot of rubble behind, lot of corpses to take care of. So what you want to do here is clarify and clarify, and clarify more. Keep an eye on the truth, let the beliefs surface. They will come up one by one ready to be released. Don’t fight them and hold on to nothing. As soon as you start holding on to belief, idea, you get stuck. To unstuck, just let it all fall of. I call this stage “Falling” as all that is untrue, falls away, all that it is true, falls into place.

Some say it takes around a couple of months to settle in , but everyone is different. So there is no guarantee how long it will take for your system to reboot and re-balance. Faith in truth is your friend. Desire to get the last lie of your system is another friend as well as readiness to let go of everything that does not serve anymore. Doubt your precious beliefs and keep investigating. This is only a beginning, not an end. It is not a gate to happy ever after, it's a tiny first step, a very important one, but not final one, by any means.

Look close at the most precious beliefs that are close to the heart, in no touch zone. They are the ones that you really want to inspect up close. You will recognize them by feeling resistance. Follow resistance. It is here to let you know that another bit of lie is sitting somewhere waiting to be noticed.

When the sticking point is removed life becomes easier, it has got a real sense of freedom, appreciation, effortlessness, trust and awe. There is freedom in every situation. There is freedom to express without feelings of guilt fear, being wrong. Freedom is not from negative situation, but within the situations. Life is no longer looked at through the lens of “me”. It’s wide open, ready to be explored. It is an end to seeking, but not an end to exploring.

Live, enjoy, pass the message.

"Keep an open mind," we like to say, "but not so open your brain slides out." But what happens when you open your mind so fully that you end up temporarily misplacing your entire head? Well that's enlightenment, baby! In this short 8-minute pointing-out meditation, Ken offers a brief but profound taste of your already-enlightened nature, revealing an ever-present consciousness that has been with you since the beginning of time.

Life is going on by itself, without a doer, manager, observer, chooser, witness that is somehow outside of what is happening. There is this illusion, that I/ me is here, but it's only words that point to story about I/me, no such thing as me exists.

Language is a tool. Somehow humans became victims of it through assumption of separate entity. This identity I/me only creates misery and unnecessary suffering. It's a cosmic joke. Humans not only learned to speak but also learned to never question this identity, as everyone around are trapped in the same soft prison of words.

What is here in between the thoughts? Just this- raw sensations, feelings, perception. Being- as in verb. And thoughts tell a story about this, where I is the main character and you are separate from me.

Try to find that I that is making stuff happen. The funny side is that's it's not even hidden, it's in plain sight and with a little bit of curious investigation, it's clear, that me lives in imaginary wold, only in stories about me. When story is taken seriously, all kind of drama spins out. At this point, just remember, whatever story is being told, it's fiction. Life goes on regardless what words are used by the mind to describe it.
