The Effect of Ancient Catastrophe on Humankind | Space News
ThunderboltsProject
Gepubliceerd op 30 jul. 2015

It is the hypothesis of many members of the Electric Universe community that within human memory, perhaps a mere four or five thousand years ago, the Earth’s sky and the inner solar system underwent profound changes. An epoch of planetary instability produced extraordinary electromagnetic events and global catastrophes that were recorded in myths and legends around the world. Today, we shift our focus to perhaps the most important question one can explore when considering this thesis -- what were the effects of these events on humankind, and to what extent did they shape our world and our species to this day?

The ideas expressed in videos presented on the Thunderbolts YouTube Channel do not necessarily express the views of T-Bolts Group Inc or The Thunderbolts Project(TM).

The Thunderbolts Project

A PROTON ARC OVER LAKE SUPERIOR

The setting had been picked out -- all that was needed was an aurora. And late last August, forecasts predicted that an otherwise beautiful night sky would be lit up with auroral green. Jumping into his truck, the astrophotographer approached his secret site -- but only after a five hour drive across the rural Upper Peninsula of Michigan. What he didn't know was that his luck was just beginning. While setting up for the image, a proton arc -- a rare type of aurora -- appeared. The red arc lasted only about 15 minutes, but that was long enough to capture in a 30-second exposure. As the name indicates, proton arcs are caused not by electrons but by more massive protons that bombard the Earth's atmosphere following an energetic event on the Sun. In the featured image, the yellow lights on the horizon are the city lights of Marquette, Michigan, USA. The blue and yellow rocks in the Lake Superior foreground are lit by a LED flashlight. Also captured, to the left of the red proton arc, was the band of our Milky Way Galaxy.

Discourse on an Alien Sky #15 | Revolving Ship of Heaven
ThunderboltsProject
Gepubliceerd op 1 aug. 2015

The subject of this video series by Dave Talbott is the ancient experience of towering celestial forms that are no longer present. From a single snapshot of the configuration, we can work backwards to the first appearance of these bodies out of an undifferentiated cloud or sea of dusty plasma. We can then follow the configuration’s evolution through phases that range from quasi-stability to earth shaking catastrophe.

Crystal Comets
The “dusty snowball” theory of comets needs attention, since there are crystals that need high temperatures to form in the matrix of at least two.
Electric Universe advocates see things differently. Stars and comets share common characteristics. They are both born of similar parentage: Stars are nodes in vast electrical circuits connected by Birkeland current filaments within galaxies, while planets, moons, asteroids, and comets are electrically charged, existing within a radial electric current that surrounds stars like our own Sun.

Predictions for Comet Science After Rosetta

As discussed in several Space News from the Electric Universe reports, the comet has a double-lobed or “rubber duck” form, which astronomers have generally attributed to a low-velocity impact that mysteriously melded two comets together. We again point readers to Dr. C.J. Ransom’s experiment, which replicated this form in the laboratory with an electrical discharge to a sample of hematite (image below):

Enigmatically the comet is tortured with sharp cliffs, projecting peaks, deep pits, and boulders of every size. The dramatically “carved” appearance has shocked mission scientists, though it amounts to an explicit prediction of the Electric Universe, which states that most—and likely all—comets were excavated electrically from planetary surfaces in a cloud of rocky debris.

Confirmed: Black Holes are Magnetism-Powered Eating Machines

AfbeeldingMatter swirls around the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way, where astronomers have observed magnetic fields (in blue in this illustration) using the Event Horizon Telescope.

The long list of unanswered questions about black holes contains one particularly surprising item: How do they eat? Unlike many of the riddles that black holes pose, this one seems so simple: What do you mean we don’t know how things fall into a black hole?

The question makes sense when you stop thinking about black holes as cosmic vacuum cleaners—which they are not—and start seeing them as astrophysical objects that (in many cases) play by the same orbital rules as stars and planets. The earth doesn’t fall into the sun. Likewise, all things being equal, an object orbiting a black hole at a safe distance should keep sailing peacefully and indefinitely along its path. And yet we know stuff falls into black holes all the time because as it does, its gravitational energy is converted to electromagnetic radiation—light—and the black hole shines.

Here’s another way to think of the problem. “Black holes have this intense gravity, but they’re trying to squeeze everything into this small volume,” says Shep Doeleman, director of the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT). “There are not very many ways to do that. You compress gas and it heats up. Take all this gas and it’s streaming toward the event horizon [the boundary of a black hole] and getting closer and closer together, it gets hotter and hotter and wants to fly away. Convincing all that gas to go through the event horizon is not a straightforward thing.”
Astronomers with the EHT published results today in Science showing that magnetic fields are essential to this process. In observations conducted in 2013, the astronomers found ordered magnetic fields near the event horizon of a black hole called Sagittarius A*, the 4-million-solar-mass giant at the center of the Milky Way.

MAGNETIC STORM ON COMET CATALINA: Earth isn't the only place with geomagnetic storms. Comets can have them, too. Such a storm appears to be in progress right now in the sinuous ion tail of Comet Catalina (C/2013 US10). Note the blobs of plasma cirAfbeeldingled in this Dec. 11th photo taken by Michael Jäger of Jauerling, Austria:

Afbeelding

These blobs are a sign of stormy space weather. Observers of comets frequently witness plasma blobs and 'disconnection events' in response to CMEs and gusts of solar wind. In extreme cases, a comet's tail can be completely torn off.

The underlying physics is akin to terrestrial geomagnetic storms. When magnetic fields around a comet bump into oppositely-directed magnetic fields in a CME, those fields can link together or "reconnect." The resulting burst of magnetic energy can make waves, blobs, or even ruptures in the comet's tail. When CMEs hit Earth, a similar process takes place in the planet's magnetosphere powering, among other things, the aurora borealis

Cleo Loi, a 23-year-old undergraduate student from the University of Sydney, has shown that there are giant plasma tubes encircling Earth, something scientists have been trying to prove for over 60 years.

Loi used a radio telescope to survey the skies and found the tubes in Earth’s magnetosphere, a multi-layer magnetic field of plasma ionized by sunlight. Loi manipulated the telescope and essentially created a 3D real-time movie of the plasma moving. Loi explains:

We saw a striking pattern in the sky where stripes of high-density plasma neatly alternated with stripes of low-density plasma. This pattern drifted slowly and aligned beautifully with the Earth’s magnetic field lines, like aurorae.

Introducing Alex Fournier | Electricity of Life
ThunderboltsProject

Gepubliceerd op 11 jan. 2016

There are many frontiers at smaller scales of life in which old theories are being renovated with new findings that paint an electrical picture. In an interesting parallel to the inadequate discussion and application of plasma physics findings in astronomy, the biological sciences have long seen a similar failure to absorb the many fruits of electrobiology. While quantum biology is now a proudly mainstream term, one would be overly optimistic to assume that its findings are being accepted without some awkward collisions with old ways of thinking.

In this first video of the new series, The Electricity of Life, Alex Fournier reports on the useful new molecular electronics-based models that Biologist Luca Turin has contributed to two different fields. After watching this video, check out the links below for the additional details.

Ben Davidson: Does the Sun Trigger Large Earthquakes? | EU2015

Using more than 35 years of data from the Wilcox Solar Observatory at Stanford University and from the United States Geological Survey, a model was constructed using patterns discerned in the polar magnetic fields of the sun. These patterns in solar magnetism were informally observed to match with the occurrence of large earthquakes on our planet, so mathematical modeling was used to formally develop an algorithm describing those relationships. Ben Davidson will describe the results obtained from this research and explain other solar aspects related to seismicity.

Ben Davidson is the researcher behind the Suspicious0bserver channel on YouTube, a channel that has rocketed in under 4 years to over 52 million views, and is Director of the Mobile Observatory Project. Ben was classically trained in law and legal research, before taking up independent research in diverse sciences. His online presence has been a constant source of data dissemination, inspiring public interest in a variety of scientific fields, including the ‘electric universe’ theories. Ben focuses on the daily solar environment and the electromagnetic interactions between the sun, earth, and the galaxy. It was this interdisciplinary “due diligence” that led him to the surprising conclusions he will present at the conference in two presentations.

Strong magnetic fields discovered in majority of stars

STRONG magnetic fields have been discovered in the majority of stars — a breakthrough finding set to impact research into their evolution.

An international group of astronomers, led by the University of Sydney, found that stars only slightly bigger than the sun have internal magnetic fields (or moving electric charges) up to 10 million times that of the Earth.

“This is tremendously exciting, and totally unexpected. Because only five to 10 per cent of stars were previously thought to host strong magnetic fields, current models of how stars evolve lack magnetic fields as a fundamental ingredient,” lead researcher Associate Professor Dennis Stello, a University of Sydney astrophysicist, said.

“Such fields have simply been regarded insignificant for our general understanding of stellar evolution. Our result clearly shows this assumption needs to be revisited.”

......Astronomers can now see very strong magnetic fields near a star’s core. This is important because magnetic fields can change what happens inside the core which shapes a star’s ageing process.
“Their interior is essentially ringing like a bell,” Associate Professor Stello said.

“And like a bell, or a musical instrument, the sound they produce can reveal their physical properties.”
He said the findings will help scientists directly test theories of how magnetic fields form and evolve inside stars, potentially leading to a better understanding of communication systems and cloud cover on Earth.

Andreas Otte: Plasma Catastrophist Geology | EU2015

Gepubliceerd op 2 mrt. 2016

Due to Illness, the late Michael Steinbacher could not present at the EU2015 conference. Andreas Otte gave the presentation Michael had intended to give. Our apologies for the 6 minute delay at the 2 minute mark while technical glitches were being worked out.

For several years, Michael Steinbacher has studied the geological formations of the American Southwest in the field. He has compared the standard explanations and alternative explanations with what he sees and has noted correspondences and anomalies. The context of his study is the physical interpretation of globally occurring themes of ancient legends and art, the observed properties of plasma behavior in laboratory settings, and a plasma-catastrophist theory of the recent geological history of the Earth. Michael's presentation will show excerpts of experiments and photographs of formations that appear similar. Of special interest will be video of dark-mode bipolar plasma discharge above a non-conducting substrate with dolomite and clay dust sifted down onto it and a channel of flowing water cut into it: a river runs through it. He will present photographs and maps that illustrate the explanatory facility of this model.

Andreas Otte has a Masters degree in Computer Science and specializes in designing and implementing applications based on Oracle technologies for a small IT company in Paderborn, Germany. His interest in chronology, catastrophism and the Electric Universe started in 2000 after stumbling upon references to the works of Immanuel Velikovsky. From there it was a small step to discover the works of David Talbott, Wal Thornhill, Herbert Illig, Gunnar Heinsohn and many others. Meeting Michael Steinbacher at the 2011 NPA conference opened up another field of interest as the question of how the theory of the Electric Universe might change our thinking about earth’s geology came into focus. Andreas will also be giving a presentation at EU2016 on EU Geology.
